RF
TAGS FOLLOW-UP AND CONTROL SYSTEM (SmartTracking) top
SmartTracking
solves the problem of the identification, traceability
and control of transportable elements, as well as
the capture of information, thus improving control,
storage, distribution and delivery processes.
This
is made possible through radio frequency-based (RF)
TAG technology. With these tags and the corresponding
scanner (manual or fixed), the simultaneous remote reading
of multiple tags is made possible without direct visual
or physical contact, thereby speeding up the reading
and data recording processes, with the resulting reduction
in costs and a global improvement in business processes.
RF
tags are the identifying elements associated with each
storage component or element to be controlled, and are
forgery-proof and inviolable. One of their advantages
is that they are passive (they do not require power
supply) and may be read and over-written more than 100,000
times. Various types of encapsulations exist,
adaptable to specific needs.

FLEET
MANAGEMENT (SmartFleet)
top
In
a marketplace as competitive as that of transport &
logistics, a delay in the planned route may have a strong
impact on the operations of pick-up & delivery,
as well as on the company's reputation vis-à-vis
its clients.
It
therefore becomes essential to have a system which
makes it possible to analyze en-route vehicle behaviour
patterns which can detect in real time any anomalous
situation which may affect operations and the quality
of customer service.
SmartFleet
reports on all vehicle movements, as well as on all
information associated with the mechanical conditions
of the vehicle. The system then processes this information,
making it possible to know such information as:
-
Conditions,
speed, altitude, date, hour and location of the vehicle.
- Time of arrival at a determined geographical location,
provided in real time (point of loading or unloading,
a town, or any other point that can be geographically
referenced).
- Detours in time or space from the expected route,
open doors, temperature, tyre pressure or any information
regarding any system which can emit a signal which is
then treated and transformed into information.
SmartFleet is ideal for a full range of logistic
activities involving mobile elements. It makes it
possible to track the movements of mobile elements,
pre-programme them, and store and interface them with
other applications.
The system may consist of a simple GSM mobile phone,
or smart equipment which incorporates GPS, memory and
a signal processor.
MOVIQUITY has developed all the necessary applications
for integrating different location technologies with
management systems and on-board electronics. All of
these applications are independent modules, and
may be used individually: Geographical Information,
route optimization, tracking, etc.

DISPATCH
MANAGEMENT (SmartDispatch)
top
Many
transport companies and couriers assign shipments to
the fleet vehicles through a manual process,
which then concludes by revising delivery notes and
introducing the data into the computer system for batch
post-processing. The highly competitive environment
in this sector makes it indispensable to know
in real time the status of shipments as they are
taking place, in order to be able to proactively
treat possible incidences.
SmartDispatch
makes it possible to be informed at all times of the
status of the vehicle fleet, the finalization of
services and possible incidences, thus optimizing
order assignment to vehicles. The driver will have
all required transport information on-hand, therefore
eliminating the need for multiple telephone calls to
headquarters.
SmartDispatch streamlines the following operational
challenges:
·
From his PC, the administrator assigns the list of delivery
note codes for that day's shipments to each vehicle
or mobile.
· Users may access or download the list of assigned
codes directly onto their handsets.
· Users can update the status of assigned shipments
on their mobile phone as there are completed.
· Whenever a user updates the dispatching status
of a delivery note, the system will automatically trigger
the corresponding UTM coordinates.
· Real time events management automatically notifies
of certain conditions, such as the successful delivery
of a product to the recipient.
· The user can locate the client from the menu
of a mobile telephone or a connected PDA.
· The use of this application does not require
a change of SIM card, and is independent of the brand
and model of the terminal.
